Educators, counselors and school board members from across North Texas came out to the packed educational forum at Collin College’s Frisco campus on August 30th. Hosted by Leslie McMurray, columnist, public speaker and advocate for the transgender community, the conversation ranged from personal accounts as a parent or transgender individual, defining terms common in the transgender community, biological treatment and underpinnings, along with legal aspects such as Title 9 and the upcoming legislative session.
